Thanks to everyone who came along to our Macmillan coffee evening tonight, helping us to raise £140 for Macmillan.
We held this evening to celebrate the life of Mrs Karen Smith Hayes, Sean's mum and a friend to the club since 2016. Karen will be missed.

This year we would like to hold a MacMillan Coffee “morning” to celebrate the life of a dear friend and volunteer helper for Spelthorne Kayak & Canoe Club
Always ready for a laugh and always ready to help anyone - Mrs Karen Smith-Hayes, who we sadly miss and lost last September.
Karen came on board early 2016 and helped you all sign in at the register desk and watched you all having fun on the water, along with her son Sean – yes, our Equipment Officer and Paddlesport Leader – with his love for being on the water.
The actual Macmillan Coffee Morning date is Friday 28th September, but we would like to hold it on Club Night - Wednesday 26th September @ approx 8:30, so we are off the water, dry and ready to eat CAKE!
Please donate your lovely cakes and tell your family & friends to come down – spread the word, spread the love, spread the cream and jam!
The Best bake-off will receive recognition ...!

We are holding a river clean up day on sunday 23rd of september and would like to invite you to come and support us. Please speak to us by email or by popping down to the club on a wednesday night so we have an idea on numbers.
